Ground floor, within 15 km. Each floor without a lift adds R120 to R240 per end, depending on the truck. With a lift it’s a quarter of that.

Book the lift
Most buildings want 48 hours’ notice. Ask for the lift key or a padded lift for the morning.

Check the moving times
Many complexes only allow moves on weekdays or before 5 pm.

Measure the big pieces
Measure your sofa and fridge against the narrowest door or stair turn.

Find the loading spot
Tell us where the truck can stop. Every extra metre of carrying adds time.

How do stairs change the price?
Each floor without a lift adds a set amount per end, based on the truck size. With a lift it’s a quarter of that. You see it in step 3 of the price tool.
Can you move me if there’s no lift?
Yes. Tell us the floor and we bring enough movers to carry everything safely.
Do I need to book the lift?
Yes, through your building manager or body corporate. We send you a reminder with what they usually ask for.
What if my sofa doesn’t fit?
We measure and try the usual tricks first. If it really won’t go, we tell you before anything gets damaged.
